Though I have signed G28, I have received both AP and EAD. Attorney did not even know that I received my AP and EAD.
I think EADs are sent to the applicant and AP to the attorney...had the same in my case...plus seen lots of folks here say the same thing...

If they don't want to publish the numbers, fine. If they don't want to process application, we can't do anything about it. But at least move the PD forward so more cases become eligible for approval and it makes USCIS's life easy to use all the numbers.
Whats the use if they move PD forward by 2 years in July and then USCIS is super busy using all the numbers available. It would be better if DOS move PD forward every quarter if they see visa numbers are not utilitized.
They should divide 140K total numbers by 12 (which is 11666) and watch each month how many numbers were used in last month. If 11666 numbers were not used last month then they should move PD for retrogressed country forward so more cases become eligible.
This is not rocket science and I don't know why DOS don't understand it.

"non answer" meant they didn't answer his questions but rather gave some vague reply of how h-1 was good for usa.
If I was on the receivng end of that response; I would have thought that these guys are playing with me and by not answering the quesitons; then they are obviously trying to hide something. Therefore, I will attack them in another way to make them conform to the behaviour I want.
MSFT do not abuse h1b visa - they maintain their pay scales and follow all rules. When they say they want h1b visa quota available it basically means - they do not want to turn away a talented candidate because of lack of visa. All these companies are genuine in their usage. So they can definitely give a proper response.
Now for a company like INFY. WIPRO, etc.. - h1b, l1b etc.. is a part of their business modal. They need some visa to bring people in and out as it is a big part of their business. If they really were serious - they must have presented their case and also work with US govt for a different kind of visa that allows them to do their business by convincing the govts about trade etc...
Now comes the consulting companies. There are companies that genuinely bring people and rotate them at various clients for projects and people stick to them till green card. But due to sheer greed - some of these have abused the system - they have absolutely no sympathy for their acts of greed. The max they can do is threaten, usse small time lawyers, cancel pay, write letters to USCIS to cancel 140 etc... do you expect them to give a proper response to the Senators?

I hope once DOS decides to change the spillover and give the extra visas to Eb3 (whoever ROW , India....). The ensuing discussions from from the self glorified EB2 crowd here would make for an entertaining reading. I would like to see how much they enjoy the predictions after that.
Changing to vertical spillover will NOT help EB3 India or China. EB3 ROW is not current and it will suck up all overflow leaving EB2I, EB2C, EB3I and EB3C to their annual quota only. USCIS changing the process to horizontal spillover is the best thing that has happened to I and C community in the absence of immigration reform. Now there is at least some hope for EB3 folks to get a new job and apply in EB2, as at least that queue is faster. If we fight among ourselves and stop vertical spillover, it will only benefit EB3ROW as they will get all overflow from EB1 and EB2ROW. Please guys, let's not fight.

ramus, follow my posts in the past 20 days and you will see i have posted many posts for this AP expedite. I have a travel coming up shortly and I had only exactly 90 days from the date of application and date of travel. My application was approved recently along with my spouse. There is even a post where I listed out all the steps I took to expedite and finally finally only the local congressman phone to USCIS helped. its just unbelievable, but its possible. I have tickets that even if you postpone the journey I will lose money. I said to myself enough we lose with USCIS, and so decided to take all and any steps to expedite and get it done. just follow my posts (like start reading my past 20 posts) and I am sure you will find it useful. If you need more help, please PM me, and I will be more than happy to help you with any questions that you have. All the best.

To tell you honestly, my primary reason for joining this forum is to learn from others' experiences - whether it be good or bad.
I can also see the opinion of others regarding matters of my personal and general interests. It is my own judgment to believe some of it or not.
Joining the rally or givin' contribution is last in my interest as I do not have a job yet and no income.
We should start respecting one's opinion and one's life. Each of us has its own case and unique to each other. My suggestion to those inviting to the rally or seeking for contribution to do it via private message. That is a nice way of doing it.
When somebody starts a thread that you do not like, just ignore it instead of posting 'close this thread'. The thread has a life of its own. If it is not popular, then it will go down to the bottom of the line. If it is very interesting, many will subscribe to it and you will find it at the first page.
Cheers to all...we all have our own problems...some are here just to find comfort...

Man - U guys love to quibble about stupid things rather than focus on the big picture. All my thread says is - I'm doing X .... Please consider doing it as well if you think it is worth your while ... Thats it - Nothing more - nothing less. And here we're having a discussion about how long I've been a member of IV and yada yada yada ...
