Nothing special, only amateurish version what is depicted in next links:

Only difference is that 3d-virtual reality program is my own.
Thanks.. I was kind of being sardonic, though.

In my mind it's still free. No it's not freeware but you can use it and get some productivity out of it even if it's only for a limited time. Thus free.
Interesting! So under your description Macromedia Studio/Adobe CS are free apps as well ;)

Hi All,
First off I am new here, so Hi again
I have a small problem getting Microsoft Outlook 2001 to use my 2003 Exchange server. I have to admit I am new to macs and am finding it a little hard to do anything but I am trying.
From what I can tell is that for some reason my the mac will not resolve the server name to an ip address. I mean when I look in the Outlook settings, under services --> properties if I place the servers IP address there and then the user name and then 'check the name' it resolves the name of the server and under lines the user name (which as far as I am concerned has worked).
Yet when I then launch Outlook I get a message saying folders could not be opened. The attempt to log on to the server failed..... Microdoft Outlook could not be started. The attempt to log on to the MS Exchange Server failed....................
What I have done so far:-
Updated the /etc/hosts file and added the ip address for the server (can ping both IP and name from the console and network util)
When in Outlook settings --> properties and user the server name instead of the IP address and try and check name I get an error.. The name could not be resolved. Network problems are preventing connection to the MS Exchange Server, Contact your system adminsitrator (me).
Sorry for the long post but this is a real problem. Any help would be much appreciated.
Ian
PS The only thing I can sort of think of at the moment is that Outlook starts I think in classic mode??? I am not sure if this starts a new shell and therefore ignores the /etc/hosts file and that is the reason why it can not resolve the server name. If I am right my next question would be where is the hosts file for the classic enviroment??

You know, there is a quite horrific problem here. Now that e is a mod, he can't hijack threads, and do drive-by macro postings!
We can't have fun anymore! Didn't you just love hijacking threads, and turning them into competitions of who can put e and K into a funny pic in e's backyard?
They days of old are gone. e is still here, but his old personality is gone. No murdured. Murdured by his moderatorship. It just won't be the same anymore.
The golden days of macrumors are over. But soon... a new idol will rise up, and the people in the fields will know that this is there time. We will throw off the shackles, and bring those who were once one of us, and turned away, back to our side! WE WILL BRING EM BACK ALIVE!
Or maybe not, who knows?

:D I'm still me, maybe a bit better behaved (honest Mr. Anderson! ;)), but still me...

Fivepoint's argument is akin to complaining that the slaves weren't paying their fair share of the taxes, and the plantation owners were paying far too much.
The top earners have almost all of the wealth in this country, they should be paying almost all of the taxes. If they were paying too much, wouldn't the wealth disparity be shrinking?
I wasn't arguing anything... simply pointing out the fallacy of his point. He stated they weren't paying their 'fair share' so I pointed out why he was wrong. That's all. BTW, what is with people like you who think they need to relate everything to slavery, the holocaust, or racism? :o

The irony of a forum with a very large gay and bisexual membership to ask for blood donations is beyond ridiculous.
Think this through, MacRumors, think this through.
I think what good donating blood does is bigger than your sexual orientation, or mine. I would have died if not for donated blood, so maybe I'm biased, I don't know.

That's normal. More "complex" songs require a higher bitrate in order to reproduce all of the original sound.

Someone asked for it last month and it was never posted and I couldn't find it using TinEye.

Well, as I said before
NUTTY FOLKS: OMG Apple keeps a copy of some wifi stations on my phone. It's a huge privacy violation!
FACT: Apple doesn't access the database cache, emails, passwords, photos on your phone either.
Agreed. More often than not, Apple has tried to side with the user's interests. It's good business practice for them since an angry customer is not a good customer. And since their business model depends on people spending hard-earned cash for products, they need to make their users happy.
Wall Street and the marketplace seem to think they are doing an overall good job.
Exactly.

That doesn't make it acceptable to torture him (or anyone else) - you can't win a war against terrorists by becoming a terrorist. Where would you draw the line and how do you determine that the line is in the "correct" place?
If you say it's OK to torture someone who knows a lot but won't tell you what he knows, how do you determine he's not telling you everything and therefore sanction torture? Before you know it, you are sanctioning torture against everyone "just in case" and it then becomes a routine part of any interrogation against anyone you capture.
I know there are no easy answers to this, and I don't know how I would react if my daughter's life was at risk and could be saved by torturing someone, but I do know that torture is wrong in and of itself and cannot be justified from a moral perspective
One thing I have not made clear, is that I agree that it is wrong, and immoral, but at the same time I think there are some cases where it is called for.
I do not advocate its use for ordinary soldiers or officers captured in a "real" war, but to be perfectly honest, I have zero compassion for the likes of KSM and people like him, to me this guy does not even deserve to be called a human being. Remember, this is the guy who beheaded Daniel Pearl, an innocent journalist.
