I think we going to get 8k from EB5 , 12k + from EB1 and what u think for EB2 ROW ? last year EB2 Total = 53 k - EB2 IC (25k) = 27-28k EB2 while they supposed to get 35-36k.means spill from EB2 row was 8k-10k. EB1 gave 1-2 k.

Do we need the Birth Certificate for secondary applicants(spouse).
None of the checklist(Employer based I-485) I have been thru say that I need the secondary applicants Birth certificate.
My spouses Birth certificate is in a regional language, and hence the question.

Yes but on Monday morning it is NOT going to be current apparently. So, technically you did not send documents ( if you are getting it out on MONDAY) when they were current.

Got an email from USCIS stating that there is an change in status... This email showed new status as Card Prodn Ordered...
This was early evening 22'nd Oct.... Got two emails - one for me and one for my wife... exactly identical email.
Then later at night (closer to midnite NSC time i think), i received the same two emails for me and my wife again.... not sure why.
Since then no other emails.... So far, i have only recvd CPO email.... no other emails at all...

I am getting ready to file I-485. Is it mandatory to apply I-131(EAD) and I-765 (AP)? I got 3yr extension which is valid till 2009 and i am not planning to use EAD anytime soon.
What if i just apply for I-485 in the beginning and apply for EAD or AP whenever there's need? Please let me know.

You can apply EAD/AP whenever you want to, provided you have filed I485. It need not be exactly at the time the I485 is filed.

I don't think it is unfair as I think
That if eb2 numbers are not filled then they automatically get allocated to eb3 so why to have portability to eb2.

I am speaking from experience. Download the forms needed for filing 485, EAD and AP. Then when your attorney send you his/her set ( normally they do this in 2 stages - one they will send you a draft copy to verify and correct all info - some have online questionnaire; stage two - they send the final forms for you to verify and sign again - this they may do paper copy or online PDF - that cannot be edited - not fill able forms).
So, here I am providing links to all forms that I know are needed. These from uscis.gov site are fill able. Weekend is coming. Fill them, and print and keep them.

If USCIS wants to do bad regulations, they will do it - with or without IV campaign for reform. What is the gaurantee that Michael Aytes will not issue a memo tommorrow restricting job movements further? They always keep doing that every now and then, on their own.
Given the current volume of changes 350,000 apps, regulations are bound to change, one way or another. Whether you want it or not. If USCIS officers (not the top brass) feel overburdened with EAD/AP work they'll start issuing more, and more, random RFEs, NOIDs etc. to reduce their burden ( passing the burden to you). They also might introduce labor market and other restrictions to reduce the backlog by eliminating all AC21 users. What is stopping them from doing it on their own?

Please dont even bring up freedom struggle into this. Obviously its seems like you know less than what you think you know about it. It will even weaken the point you are trying to make. Gandhi didnt only preach peace. He also preached many other things....speaking the truth for example.

I don't know what do you mean by success. as far as media coverage is concerned, Fireign media (India, China or elsewhere) doesn't help. It's local media, which can create some usefull awareness. I still think, the USA is the best place for democracy loving people. Govt and its agencies try their best to be accountable to law. Now if you want our Immigration issue to be put before IRAQ in the Congress, I would think that is selfishness. I have colleagues whose sons are in IRAQ. For me their lives are more important than my GC. Now that does not mean we stop making our point to Congress.
Vinabath i do NOT expect the nation to put Legal Immigration before the IRAQ WAR. Ofcourse I do not expect that. What I am trying to point out is that this is going to be a LONG LONG ongoing issue and if not the war, there will be OTHER issues like the presedential elections etc.

I request some help on how to proceed and what is required for self filing 485 for child born in India. We have already filed 485 3 yrs ago and awaiting Approval( delayed due to retrogression). Now since the dates have become current we would like to add our child who was born in India and currently living with us here ( we are still maintaining H1 and H4 status valid). I wanted to find out what documents and letter( to build the case) is required for adding our child to the application. Also would like to find out if we need to attach our child to existing application(mother or father) or file is seperately. Anybody please advise

I support your view. Let this punjabi guy go into foreclosure and screw up his credit history and suffer for the next 7 to 14 years. Its not just him, his entire family will suffer because of this.
Those who oppose the foreclosure, i think you guys are indirectly helping this punjabi guy. He has good job, good salary and he is capable of paying his monthly mortgage and he and his family are sleeping without any issue right now. If he is not going into foreclosure then how do you think this guy will suffer for the next 7 to 14 years?

Note: I know a friend who lost his job back in 2001 and couldn't pay his car loan(he could've paid). It was about $5000 and it ultimately screwed up his credit history. He got into a good paying job after a year and he wanted to buy a house back in 2002-2003 period. He was not able to get any loan including credit cards. His friend had to co-sign for him to get into an apartment. He is still repenting his decision of not paying off that loan. Recently he got a car loan at the rate of 12%.
