I have a pending I-485.
My case was file in jan 02. I have approved labour and I-140. I filed my I-485 in Jun 2005 and have an EAD and parole. How do I find when can I file my spouse's case.

Hello all,
I had my 140 reinstated in Feb-09 after it was denied back in 08 (filed motion to reopen). Last week i inquired about the status of my case since my visa category is current (VB 02/2003), I received a letter yesterday informing me that the case is out of the processing date, my 140 priority date is 12/2002. is this a mistake or my priority date has change to feb-09?

My wife's I-797A got lost in transit mail. I was wondering is there a way to order a replacement I-797A and how long would it take to get one. I need to take it to the SSN office as they require original documents to issue a SSN card. Your help is much appreciated!

I am currently working for big consulting firm, they hold my H1 and 485 is pending for more than 6 months. i have valid EAD from pending 485.
I am getting full time opportunity, my new employer is ready to transfer H1 as well as they are willing to accept me using EAD. so its entirely my preference.
can you please tell me adv/dis adv of using H1 over EAD or vice versa. (my 6 yrs of H1 will finish in another 6-7 months)

I responded to RFEs isuued to me on March 3rd 2009 which they received on March 4th 2009 and since then I also have LUDs almost everyday from March 4th 2009 until March 12th 2009. In my opinion, I don't think it really means anything. They could just be sorting out cases and issuing RFEs to every case that has paperwork missing or insufficient.

Extension = from the time requested = for example 4/1/2008 to...no more than 3 years. 3 years is the max time requested. So, if you company requests from 4/1/2008, it should state until 4/1/2011.

Call National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283
Press 1 for English
Press 2 for bypassing introduction
Press 2 for checking status etc.
Press 6 for checking status etc.
Press 1 for having receipt number
Now enter your receipt number:
press 1 to confirm receipt number
Now listen to the case update info, somewhere in the middle of blah-blah
press 3 to report a problem with your case
press 4 for filed several related applications and have received the information on some but not all
(now if you listen a male voice prompting you to hold the call that means the call is going to IOs desk, if it says no IO is available, it will redirect it to NSC, you can hang up and try the next morning)
