I like that edit Fred! Make it a little more subtle and it would work really well.
Re. dust; yes it was very dry, I was there for maybe a half hour but there was a thin layer of dust all over me and the gear. I don't like it when the teeth crunch on sand from the air. The dust adds to the shots though, much like fog.

EB1 - 3K

Am I missing something?
One other factor is in play:
100,000 visas were recaptured in 2000 under the AC21 act and made available to oversubscribed countries over the years until they ran out in 2005.

What I intend to say is "No one will help you" - YOU HAVE TO HELP YOURSELF
Chandu ..your posts are always sensible and you describe the problems correctly ..I had a quick question though ..how do you help yourself / ourself (apart from donations to IV, volunteering etc) ?
do we meet congress man ,, if yes, then everyone should do it simultaneously .. but again they will talk about jobs for americans !!
and hence I say ..we need to meet realtors in large numbers ..show interest and make them salivate for your business and then back out of the deal !!!

There was also a gap of my H-1 Activation and F-1.
Since the stamping is for your current job, and the I-129 requirement was a Bachelor's only, there should not be any issues.
What was the gap between H-1 activation and F1? If it was only a few months, it could be overlooked.
What were you doing then? Did you have a PT (practical training) atleast?
The above is based on what i think I know. The best person to advice is an immigration lawyer.

Did you see any LUD prior to this email?
No LUDs. Just got our approvals on the 14th around 5:30 PM. I did have a pretty benign RFE for EVL to which we replied on Aug 12th and there were subsequent Soft LUDs for 6 consecutive days until 8/19.
I'm guessing its been around a month since we responded to my RFE and since my case was under review, they may have picked it eventually.

If the job offered is for 15-1031 and job responsiblities remain the same as 15-1031. It should be ok to work on SAP or any other bleeding edge technologies. Call USCIS and ask them for information.

However, she could be detained in immigration custody for several days or even weeks waiting for the hearing.
A similar problem would not arise for someone with a valid H-1 visa because H-1 visa holders are not required to have a home abroad to which they intend to return. Getting innovative is the Key here. Keep your paperwork ready (You must do it in the background). Tell your employer through email that all you need is an employer letter and he can fax it to you, tell him you will personally come over to the place where he is to get signature and you have no issues, remember in your communications "Just praise him" . Tell him he is great, and you respect him and and u love him etc....... tell him that he must definitely enjoy his vacation and you will come to wherever he is or arrange for a pickup from Fedex and he has to do nothing.
All you need from him is a signature and copy of 140 approval. Your lawyer has to give you a copy if u requested, now if they are also playing it by your employer, you can tell them that you will come over to their office, and you need a copy so that you can file 485. Just be very poliet with them - be extremely polite and at equal intervals of time keep sending them polite reminders, tel, them you will come to their place and collect it personally - keep praising them and tell them how much you adore them.
In the background, workout your way, talk to a different lawyer. If a lawyer requests previous lawyer for necessary documentation, they HAVE TO GIVE. This approach may be a bit difficult because your previous lawyer may use delay tactics.
Remember - your employer is unethical and your lawyer is egoistic. You have to deal with crap.
After things go well for u- screw them big time, expose them on the internet and desi crunch.

Recently my wife went for finger printing.... none of us except her received FP notice. So she went there and did FP and asked the person over there about why I didn't get FP.
The person asked her my name and A#. He looked into the system and said I didn't get FP because by July you will get your GCs...... my FPs are still valid.... I know what he said is not true.... as you can see my PD.... but I keep wondering why he said that after looking in his system...... :confused:
PS - Sorry for the Title. But I am just quoting him.
EXACT same thing happened with us in Feb. The person taking FP told my wife that we will get our GC in April but the cleaver part was that she never mentioned they year!!! :)

Hi,
I had applied for H1 for 2008 from two different employers.Both got approved.Now my concern is ,
1)would there be any problem during the Visa stamping?
2)What should i do to other visa ,which i will be not using?
3)How should i approach the employer whose employment i will be not accepting?
4)I have signed one offer letter from the employer but other employer had not provided me with the offer leter.so whom should i join?
Just pick the one that you to want join with. It doesn't matter if you got more than one application approved. The effective H1B will be the one that you would use for stamping at embassy.
Hence relax and have fun!!

After looking to so many threads on our forum regarding the receipt notice delay. IV have raised the same questions to USCIS. Today USCIS have come with the answers to your questions. We are told that USCIS has put additional resources to address the receipt notice delays.

Her H4 depends on my H1B validatity. Im said if i call AC21 using my EAD, then my H1B goes invalid and so her H4. Does this makes sense to you. Do you got other opinions ? If so let mw know. thanks.

2 times I returned back from Intl trips, the officer kept 1 original. I am left with 1 original. I have one intl trip to make before my renewed AP arrives.
From the discussion, I think the officer will stamp the last original, make a copy and give the original back.
Have a Photocopy of the AP with a "Copy" Seal on it just in case... I had 2 original AP's and both the Times i travelled international - From Rome and Hyd,India to US , the Immi. Officer gave back the Original with the Stamp on it. you could request the Officer to give back the AP explaining your case. This shouldn't be a matter of concern.
