This is news? I heard about these things (and saw screenshots, and videos) back in August when people got ahold of the Leopard WWDC preview and broke their NDAs (or pirated it).Correct. This was leaked the day after Leopard Preview was released. Sheesh.

So I found these on Intel's site, but I assume these are not the Sandybridge Xeons that everyone is saying will be in the next MacPros? What's the difference?

I love life in the melting pot, it's the one thing I really miss about living in London, there's just a degree of culture clash that you don't get outside of the capital.
london is rather unique in regards to beign a succesful melting a pot in europe, mostly because of the world spanning empire in the past ... in the rest of europe immigration from (former) colonies was either non existant or cause massive problems like visible with france
also UK has a convienent geographic location to control it's illegal immigrations

This doesn't fit in the 75x75 size or under the 39.1K filesize limit so it won't get counted... sorry.

You can fix it to fit a tar and that'd be fine, but all entries not in the correct format will be disqualified.
and it's also in the rules that it should be a new avatar, not one seen on macrumors before.

It is clear that Apple has been at best disingenuous on the issue, and at worst downright dishonest.
Not only does the data collected fully amount to tracking, but Apple also apparently patented this in 2009 - so to claim it was a 'bug' seems questionable.
Not saying other OSs do better (I don't know), but Apple can't simply say 'others do bad stuff, so that justifies us doing it'. But the dishonesty is the bigger issue.

I bought a Radeon 9600 PRO from OWC years ago, it was an OEM card pulled from an AGP G5 tower with pins 3 & 11 taped by OWC. They stopped selling them after awhile because of problems with certain versions of the G4 but it always worked fine for me in my Digital Audio.
I had the exact same card in my dual 867 MDD in 07 and later in the dual 1.42 I got. I loved it. Was my first core image GPU. Bought mine on ebay.
I settled on a Sawtooth in the end as I prefer reliability and they are one of the most reliable Macs ever made. Most reliable G4 tower by far.

I hate AT&T with a passion. Yet, I'd never switch to Verizon because I'm hooked on 3Mbps + speeds. They're the crack of carriers.
Switching is probably useless, as Verizon most likely will do the same.
Why leave money on the table?
I agree with the poster about ATT always charging something extra here and there and they know they get away with it as you can never reach anybody to straighten this out or most people won't check a 75 plus page phone bill.

I am also looking into Boost or other pay as you go services for phone calls.
Need more wifi in places and we can get away with an ipod or ipad.
Let's just say lots of us will check how to get unf#$#$

just opened 2 films on iplayer, itunes movie, and all the other applications i can find and its sitting about 48 deg C.
Main fan is wired into 12v so at max flow all the time but still not to bad at all

You can make the dock transparent with Mirage Dock. Works with 2D or 3D dock.
