My PD is oct 2004 it is way-off from the current priority dates according to the visa bulleting, but still I received the EAD for only one year(approval date: 9/11/2008). Did you receive any positive info from the INFO-PASS appointment?

That's the only logical thing to do right now, sending original EAD might be a bit risky.....i will update after my info pass appointment.

Hello..
My Visa get expire on Sept 2009. I want to travel india on month (June) and coming back on June. Do i need to stamp my visa for coming back?. Also My visa in the name of company A. and i left the company moved to company B and then Company C. Now my H1 is with company C and its valid till 2011 November. Can i use the same Visa for reentry to US when i am coming back on May/June. Please give your answers ASAP.

For re-entering your left over time is sufficient, however if you ever want to travel out of US again you might need to go back to a consulate for visa issuance.

Folks, Let us not use this forum for non-immigration matters.
i have seen numerous posts in his forum about finances, real estate, phone cards, exchange rates,courier services and even jokes.....whats wrong with asking a fellow desi's opinion on indian channels under interesting topics??we live in an area mostly populated by americans and do not have any desi people around. i thought this was a good forum to take opinion of fellow desis. if you think it is against the forum rules, you can take this off.

take that dispute report and go to your local police station..
If you do not want to wait for your employer to give you details about the report, you can order one for yourself using a service like Personal record search (includes criminal reports) from www.choicetrust.com.
If I were you, I would not wait around for details from the employer but spend the $25 and get all the info I can and dispute whatever is incorrect.

1) Would this be a problem in his GC journey?
2) If something has to go wrong with my still pending I140, our EAD will not longer be valid. Then, can I apply for his H4 in future?(keeping in mind that his H4 application has been withdrawn right now)
3) Will he need to get out of the country while we file his H4 other then stamping?
4) Am planning to go for stamping to Qubec. Anybody who has recently been there for stamping, could you pls. post your experiences both at the consulate & POE?

I was told that as long as your priority date is current, you can file for AOS.
As soon as your application gets to the service center, and assuming your PD is current, it makes no difference what it ACTUALLY is. At this point, it goies to "whatever system they want to use" and has no relation to PD, but more to the RD of application

Yes, lets hope the removal of AC21 in CIR has been reversed !
Regardless EAD and AP are not affected by Priority Date. (Neither is I485 processing - I believe that as long as the PD is current, it is treated on an Receipt date of I485 - another benefit of filing I485 asap)

Let me also add one more question. I have a pet that I am bringing from abroad. Which line should the pet stand in? I do not want the IO at Port of entry to call my employer and ask if he tried to find US citizen pets for me .

I am sorry to say this, why do you always try to create controversy. If you don't want to answer you should have kept quiet. No hard feelings my friend. I know that there is not a definite answer for my question, but I have posted here just to take expertise from our friends from their previous experiences. Lets say if you are going for a visa, don't you do your homework instead of leaving everything to the mercy of the officer?
If you look at my personal perspective, I am trying to be careful during these hard times.

I guess, your picture was taken at local ASC. Call customer care asap and inform them about this mistake. If needed setup infopass and visit local office. Hope you will soon get it corrected from CIS

I think you should get to the bottom of it.
#1 Get the actual RFE from the lawyer see what is reply by date mentioned there.
#2 Make sure your employer isn't playing games. No one can be expected to divulge financial details to every employee but at least get the extent of changes required. Normally if everything is okay, all that is needed for A2P is Tax documents, Earning statements, W3s, Wage reports.. pretty standard stuff that employer is supposed to have anyways..
If actual return needs to be amended, That may not happen in couple of days, in that case you should work with attorny to see your options abt delayed response etc.

Do you know whether the substituted LC was used by the original employee by using AC21. If that previous employee got their GC...then the subbed LC is void so 140 will be denied.
This confusion w.r.t AC21 & labor sub was the very reason that LC sub was abolished.
